Some of the keyboards I've been using lately. These aren't recent builds (I haven't built anything in a while) but I did recently put new keycaps on all of them. I had been accumulating a bit of a backlog of keycaps due to group buys trickling in while I have been in depression anhedonia mode.
Details below:
- Hillside
- A low-profile split wireless keyboard using choc switches (smaller than traditional MX switches) and choc spacing (keys are closer together), built as a wireless board using nice!nano controllers and ZMK firmware.
- Switches are choc navy (Heavy clickies)
- Keycaps are semi-prototype (sold as "proof of concept") [LDSA](https://lowprokb.ca/products/ldsa-low-profile-blank-keycaps] from lowprokb. They're fun and scoopy. Unfortunately all the stems on this batch had to be hand-shaved due to tolerance issues in order to avoid damaging switches. This was painful. Thumb cluster uses regular MBK keycaps because I didn't have enough of the LDSA thumb keys
- TBK Mini from BastardKB
- 3D printed keyboard with scooped keywells for better ergonomics (cf. Kinesis, Dactyl-style, MoErgo) and weird flexible PCBs. Wild keyboard to build. One of my favorite things about it is that I find Cherry profile keycaps comfortable to use on it, whereas I normally quite dislike that profile -- which is the most common one amongst nice keycaps.
- Switches are KTT Strawberries with slow heavy springs
- Keycaps are Cherry RAW from Novelkeys
- Panda666 Pastel Goth
- This is a variant by opsec panda of the popular reviung41 unisplit keyboard, in an extremely cool color and with neat lighting - Switches are Kailh Box Navy - Keycaps are DSS After School 40s, which are extremely cute.
