I hate that a lot of specialty coffee shops insist on calling cold brew made with a toddy system “toddy,” mostly just because I hate how it sounds, but also it’s just fucking cold brew, what’s more perplexing is when they have separate menu choices for “cold brew” and “toddy,” like yes one is a concentrate but it still ends up being fucking cold brew in the end, give me a break!!!
Cold brew is one of the things I have not yet gotten around to attempting on my journey to enjoy coffee. Fundamentally the issue here is that I am incredibly lazy about things that involve planning ahead.
Like yes it is objectively more labor for me to make an iced latte or the ridiculous but quite tasty "aerocano" that the kids are into now, but I don't have to premeditate it, so it feels easier
I haven’t been in the coffee world in years so this is the first I’m hearing about aerocano and I’m glad someone found a way to diy nitro cold brew
any drink can be fluffy if we believe in ourselves
