@NoelBWrites asked:

Do you have a mighty need for posts about acclaimed Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges or maybe posts that he would probably enjoy? Do I have the tag for you.

#borgesposting

Cohost is the official borgesposting website btw

or, Tlön, Updog, Orbis Tertius

If you are unfamiliar with his work, Jorge Luis Borges was an extremely good and weird writer from Argentina who wrote extremely trippy and erudite short stories which are hugely influential in both literary and philosophical terms.

Borges's stories were often detailed and eloquent elaborations of basic thought experiments or absurd propositions. Therefor he was, in a sense, one of the most accomplished high-effort shitposters.

Probably his most well-known work is "The Library of Babel," which describes life inside a library which contains books comprising all possible combinations of the characters in an orthography, and explores the myth-making of civilizations trapped inside such a place, but don't sleep on "Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius" or "Pierre Menard, Author of the Quixote," both of which feel like A Lot in our era of "content consumption" and transcriptive journalism.

(Feel free to explain to me in the comments why I'm a poser and a real Borges head would have better favorites.)

Here are some excellent #borgesposting borgesposts!
