I don't like reality shows generally, but I don't like cooking reality shows in particular, because they're always about people who, even if they are annoying douchebags, are like, staking their hopes and dreams in a physically and emotionally destructive industry on the outcome of the silliest kind of competition imaginable. The exploitation of human drama really kills any possibility of "fun" for me in that genre.
Sorted is just a bunch of doofuses dunking on each other and hanging out, it's the pick up game version of cooking competitions. It's terrible, but I don't feel bad about laughing at them because nothing horrible is happening on screen, other than sometimes the food being prepared.
