(Massdrop bought keyboard forum geekhack.org before cutting the "Mass" off to become "Drop." They never really did anything with or to geekhack as far as I know, which is one of the better things you can say about them. However, I don't know if they still own/owned it or what the implications of Drop being acquired for geekhack would be.
For those unfamiliar, Geekhack is one of the main places other than reddit that keyboard and keycap designers publish interest checks and group buy announcements.)
