@TheBlondeBass is organizing #cohost draws:

It's a friendly art jam thing I want to organize every few months, as long as there’s interest!

The theme will be "LOVE AT SECOND SIGHT".

The deadline for the first session is August 4.

It's like a zinechost!1

From the organizer:

We all follow a shared theme, and each person that wants to participate should send in one (1) piece of art along with a short explanation of how it fits the prompt! That way, we’ll end so we end up with a nice collab at the end! People of all skill levels are welcome :eggbug-uwu:

The theme for this very special first edition is “LOVE AT SECOND SIGHT” – let’s see things you cherish that took some time to get around to! Maybe it was brussel sprouts, or a new Gorillaz album, maybe it was playing Monopoly against your grand-father, maybe it was a video game you dropped a few hours in! Maybe even... something else!

This is my first time running something like this on Cohost, but you can see an example of when I ran something similar on the gaming website Destructoid right HERE.

Fair warning, you’ll want to have an adblocker before clicking on the link above!

In short: It'll be one long chost with links to the profiles of the different artists, followed by their art and descriptions, all in a random order!

The chost will go up on August 5, but the fun does not stop there! If you want to share your own art and stories after the post goes up, we could reuse tags for visibility! I suggest using “#cohost draws” (general) and “#chdraws01” (specific to this one).

  1. It's like a zine in here
