objectively too many tv/anime/manga screencaps

it's really funny that an extremely popular tool for low end pro video these days is "backpack with fishing pole that hangs camera in front of your face like carrot motivating a cartoon horse"
low end pro video??? this mf has a red with what looks like it might be canon glass they can afford a real camera support
this is not in a haughty "oh, you don't have an organizational budget and you think anything less than four zeroes is a lot of money how adorable" tone, it's a "Thing You Remember Being A Big Deal 'Just A Few Years Ago' Is 30 Years Old" tone
yea i honestly figured those were still five zeroes. i guess there’s probably some old like 1080p24 model you can get cheapish ‘cause it sucks then right
i was thinking about the bmpcc line as kinda the low end benchmark (as those aren’t much less than $3000 in the grand scheme of things) but i keep kinda forgetting literally anything that doesn’t do 4k60 exists because it’s useless to me lol
https://www.ebay.com/itm/275316602951 reds are modular so it's not quite fair of me to say "you can get a red 4k for $1200", because that'll just be the sensor. but you can at least get one that i believe is ready to use except for a lens for $5000.
yeah if you want 60 then i believe you have to spend more, or buy a blackmagic (or any of a dozen mirrorlesseses)
i consider 60 pretty much non-negotiable for producing content designed to be watched on a computer monitor, so i have a blackmagic (and i want an eos r5 c, which costs about as much as that used red)
it's amazing how many people disagree because they have ghoul's blood in their veins
i don’t get it. every now and again the bmpcc puts itself on 50 because i’ve accidentally selected full sensor and i notice immediately that it’s off. 30 is just godawful
i started using presets, a very un-me kind of decision, solely because this kept happening (although I never once ruined a shoot with it, shockingly)
i had been presetting but then i updated the camera firmware and it nuked my presets and i haven't gotten around to setting 'em back up
Not sure, haven't bought mine yet. I get the impression: Yes
i mean, camera on fishing pole? that is what came to mind would not be surprised if that was the idea behind it in sm64
