Sounds like the progressive DA candidate in Alameda County (Pamela Price) won! That's nice.
Also apparently there's a chance Oakland will get the less bad mayor.
While it's always important to keep expectations firmly reined in, both would be huge improvements over the status quo we've had for the last several years in the east bay.
