i did it once! it's scary to use up stickers like that, but its fun when it's all set!

i ended up taking a bunch of stickers i have, and placing them on my old laptop without sticking them, just to look at it and see if i liked it, and then i started peeling and placing.

doing stickers like above, you can kinda leave it like that. I did a stickerbomb that left no surface exposed (lost of overlapping stickers), so i brought out some clear spray paint (setting/sealing spray, maybe? i don't entirely remember) to seal it. it worked pretty well, though it picked up grease and dirt and was hard to clean. i'd recommend doing that style of bombing on a surface you aren't touching all the time (i might do it to one of the side panels of my desktop pc).

most stickers you can just peel up and replace at least once. but it's even better if you can use a hair dryer or a heat gun to melt the adhesive, lift it up and stick it back on. i've done that process on both a plastic-backed, and metal-backed laptop and it was fine, but i would exercise caution with the heat on a plastic-backed laptop.
