May be of interest to the mechanical keyboard curious; there are TONS of videos on how to do this, but this one is straightforward and mostly well-organized. The only criticism I have is that I wouldn't relegate bag lubing springs to the end of the video.

BTW if you think the idea of spending hours hand-lubing switches is utterly preposterous (it is), you can look for switches that are known for being relatively nice "stock." My personal recommendations would be Gateron Oil Kings, Kailh clickbar clickies like Jade or Navy, and Novelkeys Silk, but I'm not really up on the latest in switches so there's probably new hotnesses out there.

there's also an increasing number of switches that come factory-lubed -- I'm not sure what the process looks like (I hope it doesn't involve people having to do it by hand) but a decent number of factory-lubed switches now are good enough that even the sticklers who do switch reviews are like "yeah these are fine out of the box"
