In the first frame, I'm not sure what accordion struts in front of the lens board are supposed to be. The only reasonably answer would have to be a bellows-type lens hood, but there's no...bellows. There's just a little clothes rack hanging off the front. Although maybe you could use that drape a dark cloth over?

In the second frame, the operator is sliding something to the side of the camera. Now, it can't be a darkslide because there's a big hole in it that you can see his lapel through. I don't know whether that's supposed to be the ground glass(??) or just some type of mask.

Now, I'm assuming this was made with some kind of reference, and it's entirely possible that I'm just missing the point of things that would make sense on a vintage view camera of a certain age...
