My espresso setup is fairly basic, but technically legit. (I have a Uniterra Nomad, which is a manually pumped plastic machine that looks like a bad 3D render of a discontinued lego part, and a refurb'd J-Max hand grinder). I generally only have light roast coffee on hand, so that plus a budget all-manual setup is not necessarily the best recipe for consistency, but thanks to some highly soluble alt-process coffee I was able to get some shots that had intense but not unpleasant flavor even at relatively traditional espresso ratios, and stood up well to dilution. ::blows kazoo::
