Split with trackpoint is my new minimum requirement for a keyboard. This is the only option on the market that I'm aware of (I've been working on a full custom dactyl w/ trackpoint for some time).

The trackpoint means never having to move your hand to a trackball/mouse which has become an important ergonomic concern for me (along with split). dedicated mouse keys are very nice (as opposed to autoswitching to a mouse layer on the thumb keys). the scroll wheel is also a nice alternative to middle click scrolling while e.g. reading an article.

The Santoku itself is lovely. I have never used so few keys before but the default keymap made the transition almost seamless. and the thoughtful engineering is really something to appreciate.

I started with MBK keycaps, since they get so much attention, but I picked up MCC POM keycaps because I prefer cylindrical tops to spherical and they were a mindblowing upgrade. I much prefer the shape and the smooooth POM is incredible. Throw MBK in the fire. Then I printed some Chicago Steno and now I can never go back. Suprisingly, I managed to get a pretty smooth print with FDM, but its still not as wonderful as POM. However, Chicago Steno is such a better shape than MCC I switched immediately. With only 3 keys in a column I didn't think sculpt could matter that much. I was wrong, the keys feel noticably closer (and the outer columns too). Plus the indented saddle shape is like the best of both spherical and cylindrical. When I've got some money to spare, I'm definitely buying a real set.
