during these times, i do my best to read about a new topic, mostly to learn a new skill, but sometimes just to go outside of my comfort zone and attempt knowing more about an unknown field
That's a great idea! I'm in awe of people who do that. It's been more and more daunting for me to try to learn new skills lately haha.
I definitely like learning new things by going down a video essay rabbithole though.
i've been trying to become more conscious of when i'm doing it, and it's shockingly often. it's like i'm fidgeting but instead of an object, i'm fidgeting with the whole internet.
yeah i have a "trail" of websites that i loop around sometimes and it takes me a few revolutions to realize what i'm doing
