When I read a blog post that's hosted on the person's personal website instead of a social media platform, it feels so much more genuine and personal and even well-written.
There's something so sacred about writing a huge thing that possibly 0 people will ever read or share. It also makes me more likely to want to leave a comment, too.
Once you entirely remove the mechanisms of sharing or the culture of what people are used to posting...you get the real shit...
You also get less low-effort observations such as this one.
