3 alternate key arts advertising their game upon release, probably for scattershot A/B testing. I think maybe the middle one was actually drawn by a human?

haha sorry, yeah i thought it looked kinda cool too. fwiw i'm just an internet rando making baseless accusations but it seems extremely strange to me that they'd have a new key art redone in this elegant anime style and not announce credit of what illustrator made it! Plus, when you watch the trailer that has the anime-thumbnail, the ending part of the video doesnt even use the anime illustration version, which leads me to believe they generated it long after making their trailer.
in the time since posting this i've found like 3 other Key Arts they've used over the years with different approaches. I do think some of them were made by people, but I'm most skeptical about the "anime" one and "comic book style" one.
it speaks to a lot of things but honestly for me it speaks to a real lack of confidence in being able to get people interested in their game
