Really great review of Area Zero from Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, which I've always felt pretty much deserves its own review separate from the rest of SV.

I love this area for two reasons. One, because it ends the game on such a high note, which I think is really important and can help you forgive a lot of the stuff from the middle of a game. Two, because it feels like such a cool proof-of-concept of what a Pokemon game COULD be.

Area Zero feels really alien too, which is great. Good music, the research labs... it's just a good tone piece IMO, and the crystals are choice too.

Big agreement with your points here.
