People should make more games about sorting stuff. Similar to Wilmot's Warehouse or Unpacking.

I'm always in the mood to do some relaxing sorting. If anyone knows a game like this, let me know.

As a side note, I think something like this for Pokemon (as a spinoff or fangame) would be so good. Catching Pokemon, sorting them by traits, and then suggesting Pokemon for NPCs to adopt based on traits they like.

have you played Strange Horticulture? it's a game about identifying fantasy plants from incomplete descriptions, and requires that you do a lot of your own analysis and inference to get there. I think it might hit some of what you're talking about here.

wait that’s not relaxing at all it’s got that time limit. the whole point is to make you work as fast as possible. ok more seriously, Minecraft modpacks while very difficult to get into uninitiated have a whole lot of organizing to do at your own pace. like a lot of it. when you have 50 mods adding whole swaths of items and stuff your inventory management gets crazy.
