The unfortunate truth about me and visual novels is that I'll happily buy them to support the developer, and once I've gotten into the story and characters I'll be REALLY into it, but it's always tough for me to start up the game the first time and get through the first act.

i'm trying to get into the habit of playing visual novels in those 20-30 minute margins of time where i might otherwise just scroll social media
granted it's a bit easier to just take a bite sized chunk out of fate stay night since i read it already way back in the day
