I don't like when stories that deal with surrealism/fantasy are like "and here we are…at the TRAIN OF THOUGHT" and its a train. Or "brainstorm" and it's a brain-themed thunderstorm.
I'm not a fan of relying on the cutesy wordplay.
I think I just dont like the process of "think of a phrase/idiom in English" and then representing that literally. It's probably just a me thing bc I know a lot of people get a kick out of it, but it ruins it for me every time.
I think these types of things would be better if they werent called the actual phrase? Like, dont point it out.
It feels like like an Okay joke at best and a bad approaching to design/storyboarding at worst.
