blogging (ashamedly)

Hello! I'm an artist, writer, and game developer. I work for @7thBeatGames on "A Dance of Fire and Ice" and "Rhythm Doctor."

I run @IndieGamesofCohost where I share screenshots and spotlights of indie games. I also interview devs here on Cohost.

If you're like me and you're new to RSS, you might not know where to start. I'm definitely...not an expert at all and you shouldn't listen to me. I recommend checking out the various rss-related tags here on Cohost for people sharing their expertise and where to get started.

Instead I'll just share that if you want a really simple, really minimalist RSS app for Android, I'm enjoying Capy Reader right now. It doesn't have any bells and whistles, and it lets you import and export your whole collection of feeds in case you decide to try another app out instead.

Might be a good way to get your feet wet and try out what an RSS reader app is and how it works if you're new.

As you can see from the 3 screenshots above, here's the really basic look at the sites you're following. There's a 1 next to "days and wonder" because there's a new post on @erica's blog I haven't read yet. I can tap on it and read it directly in the app, including any images that are in the post itself.

You can either display All feeds or specifically only display Unread feeds, so that you're only shown the stuff that you haven't looked at yet.
