Hello! I'm an artist, writer, and game developer. I work for @7thBeatGames on "A Dance of Fire and Ice" and "Rhythm Doctor."

I run @IndieGamesofCohost where I share screenshots and spotlights of indie games. I also interview devs here on Cohost.

Dabbling in Cookie Clicker again after playing it briefly the year it came out.
Question: Is this one of those idle games that has a purely linear progression? Like "build more efficient thing B", "upgrade more efficient thing B", "build more efficient thing C that makes B obsolete," "upgrade more efficient thing C", etc etc?
Like, there's no twist or choices or strategy or anything? Or am I just too early on?
I've been spoiled by stuff like Gnorp Apologue, Magic Research, and Orb of Creation where there's branching choices and strategy and some semblance of expressing yourself, haha.
