there should be a ping (callout? is there a term for this?) in splatoon that says "don't super jump to me, because if you do, you are going to get splatted immediately"
that only works when you yourself are dead. if i'm the only one walking around and someone's about to super jump to insta-death, "ouch" is replaced by "this way!" which is the opposite of what i'd like to tell them
fully agree and i've been thinking for a LONG time that the signals you can use should be customizable, letting you set specific presets for different game modes. obviously "Booyah" should probably stay where it is for the Booyah Bomb utility but the left and right D-Pad buttons just go unused. having more complex signal options would be so useful especially in solo queue clam blitz where you have to make all your moves as a team but have limited communication options
