really bugging me that tags on this website automatically capitalize themselves whenever they were capitalized in their first ever instances. what use do tags have to be case sensitive

Yeah, kinda sucks that whoever made the original tag determines how it's capitalized. Especially since some of them have emphasis that I don't think is appropriate in the cases that I'd like to use them.
Even if it weren't a bit annoying it still smacks of technical debt
