"Bounding Through Time" is excellent on its own but truly nothing can compare to how much harder it hits as a culminating piece in the actual game. Not just in combining all of the game's major motifs--the sense of urgency of the final moments (especially the final scene with Blumiere and Timpani at the gazebo) adds a massive layer to how well it works, how desperate the movement to stop the Chaos Heart has felt since the Light Prognosticus was written, how futile it seems to love in a dying world, how powerful it is to do it anyway. I'm truly never going to stop thinking about it
