next week, I'm leaving Austin TX and moving back to Florida to move in with family members while I figure out my next steps. I've been looking for a new job basically every day since Possibility Space collapsed, and I'm still not anywhere closer.
being with my loved ones in a new place that I'm not paying Austin rents on will (I hope) help my mental state a fair bit, but it's hard to walk away from the life I've built for myself over the past 12 years in Austin. I might be be better situated to figure out what comes next, but I'm saying goodbye to my home, my friends, and a city that I've come to really appreciate.
I have to get rid of most of my possessions here in Austin, and transport myself, my dog Pullo, and my tortoise Freya over a thousand miles to get home. if you're able and willing to chip in, anything helps.
