the more time passes the less i like shin godzilla because i just watched minus one and its a MUCH better godzilla movie, and i think it just boils down to minus one wasnt made by hideaki anno, so its instantly better
hideaki simply can not stop himself from being a raging nationalist and it bleeds into all his work and it just ruins shin godzilla for me, despite loving the parts of the movie that actually had godzilla
