weird depressed person trying to make a game? actually not sure. yeah i should probably more thoroughly interrogate my appreciation of the referenced video game character

this could be very cool for a game otherwise based on a forward/rewind mechanism
Roguelike game where you always start at some randomly defined point in the middle of a run. You might or might not still have your pet alive and following you. You may have inexplicable injuries or curses on you, your inventory might consist of a random array of weapons in varying states of disrepair or enchantment, and half of the dungeon is already explored.
Basically recreate the experience of me checking my Dungeons of Dredmor save files once every 9 months or so
