this "controlled substance abuse" problem is negligible when talking about Adderall, etc., right? Like, am I supposed to care that We Cannot Let these Drugs Fall into the Wrong Hands, when I've already lost hours of my life to making calls and shouldering the burden of miscommunication between Professionals just to get my prescription sent to some place that can actually fucking fill it, and I know I'm STILL one of the lucky ones? Like, one of the reasons I'm taking this stuff is because I'm bad at keeping up with administrative things like this, and it's MY fault when I don't get my meds on time because I dared to be affected by the symptoms of the condition I have that the pills are designed to treat? UGH
