if you do, I'm sorry! it wasn't that long ago, but that doesn't make it good. anyway, appropos of something, I have decided to share a take I've had since looking up one of the games involved.
33 Immortals sounds like a pretty cool idea. Nobody is going to buy and/or play it.
it requires you to know what a "raid" is, own the game, and that you are in a game instance with 32 OTHER PLAYERS. like, HOW? you couldn't make this work if you were a AAA studio. it sounds like something you would see at like a niche games event (not that I would refuse such an opportunity had I had one), but they're selling this (eventually) and it's supposed to make money? it feels even less likely that the game could get traction now than if this happened like, 8 years ago. like, if that game could succeed, hell yeah! (but also god this showcase sucked), but I don't see how that's possible.
I dunno, just feels like even more of a farce, maybe more than "beloved indie game now developed by gearbox".
