I don't think anybody following me needs to hear this but maybe you could tell this to somebody else who does. If you see a post and the post has at least 10 comments on it and you disagree with the post, just leave. Do not inquire. Do not look into it. Don't anything. Don't send the user and anonymous ask. Don't leave your own comment.
The odds that you're going to be participating in a brigade without realizing it are extremely high. That user probably doesn't need it. That user probably was expressing a feeling that they really do feel and your response is almost certainly not what they are hoping to receive.
And I do mean if it has at least 10 comments. If it has at least 10 comments then you're probably the 30th person to send them an anonymous ask. They don't need that and they don't have the time to respond to all of them. All you're going to be doing is participating in dumping all over them.
You might think that you're just asking questions but you're actually asking questions of a person who's being asked many many many questions. You might think that you are not in particular bad but you are in a sea of hundreds. No one specific drop of water drowns somebody.
Again, I don't think anybody who follows me needs to hear that but yeah. Careful not to be a part of anything like that.
Honestly just in general if you're going to send asks/comments you should check if they've already got a comment that's basically the same or answered an ask about it, getting asked the same question you already answered several more times is annoying even when it's not argumentative.
