Cohost was really one of the few social media places I really enjoyed, rarely you see social media experiences described as sharing and being able to interact and part away from conversation, something that many users do share about this site.
Experiencing it definitely makes you wonder if the current spectrum of the "Meta" umbrella, Twitter and YouTube is hostile to its users by lack of trying to let them express themselves, or trying too hard to exploit their browsing habits, two things Cohost with its design philosophy denied at its roots.
A noble attempt to make social media more social again. And at the very least remind the users that behind all the usual bickering and noise, there's still people who enjoy being there and sharing things for others.
