Yeah, but Long Covid destroying my executive function instead of ADHD.
My deepest sympathies, I can only imagine how hard it is to deal with it after not having grown up with it.
It's... weird. I'm still really good at sitting at computer and lying in bed, but to make the switch between the two takes a huge effort of pure willpower. Let alone trying to go to the gym or cook or whatever.
Some people say it feels much like trying to put a hand on a hot stove top, like you know what you're doing is important but you just can't make yourself do it, not without a lot of effort.
I think I might have both - either that or being sedentary from being indoors all the time during lockdowns destroyed my energy level.
Whatever it is I've had what feels an awful lot like chronic fatigue for the last two years.
I had a heavy fever with trouble breathing in late january/early february 2020, before people were testing for COVID in the United States, so I wonder....
no tastebud stuff though
