this post is from 2 years ago because it's my first post ever. I needed to reuse an old post so that it would have the old post behaviour that let you use position:fixed
it was originally just a text post that said "ed balls"

it’s tied to publish date. drafting and republishing updates the age of posting but just editing doesn’t. this isn’t a bug and has been present the entire time

I’m glad that’s not the case. I think it’s probably to allow folks to fix any bugs that come up that break them, or maybe it was an oversight. Regardless, it allows one last hurrah of “what the fuck how is this possible” CSS crimes. go out with a bang.
