these are based on vibes and vibes only. don't talk to me about grounding pins and safety concerns I do not care. idk what the ratings are out of those are based on vibes too. images are all from Wikipedia

NEMA (polarized)

NEMA plug with two parallel rectangular pins, one with a bulbous head
this is the most common one I see where I live. perfectly neutral plug to me

NEMA (unpolarized, grounded)

two NEMA plugs, the first one without the bulbous head, the second one with an additional round grounding pin below the two live pins
variants of the above. something feels off about unpolarized pins. the grounded plug represents sturdiness and reliability to me, but they're difficult to remove
