I haven't even started making anything, just opened NUTS.WAD (because of course) and figured out what's going on, and it already feels like this tool was built by actual people with a soul that want to get creative work done. I love it.
I feel like I picked a serendipitous time in Doom history to get back into playing and grab some editing tools. No promises whether I'll have anything cool to show off soon, but at least SLADE is right there and it doesn't feel daunting to jump in and try things.
