$70 CAD is $51.75 USD or €47.76 EUR.

Need to borrow someone else's credit card, and I don't want to be indebted to the person. And would like to pay back the amount borrowed soon as possible.

(And no, don't suggest preloaded credit card or prepaid credit card. Revenue Canada got on my case about that because I don't use the banks very often, and Revenue Canada wanted to make sure I'm who I say I am. And that was a pain to the arse to deal with over VRS or video-relay service.)

Yes, Canada is very slow transitioning to online services. When I first moved to Finland a long time ago, my friends were floored I still knew how to write a cheque because everything is already automated in swampland.

Handwritten note on a mail-issued notice: "Payment by VISA April 16/24. 10 AM. Apx mail out time 30 - 46 days". Reference number, ID number and due date blacked out. Mail-out notice was sent on February 1, 2024. There's a sentence cropped out ending in "and please disregard this notice" in bold typed text.
