Masks are cool and hide your face, too. Shit was punk before the pandemic, and it's only gotten moreso. If you're so concerned about your aesthetic, slap a scarf over it, or modify a respirator or something so it fits (in a non-sealing way) over an N95.
Or just get over it, your vibe isn't worth disabled lives.
I think people sometimes get the idea that being punk is all style & anger, without recognizing that so much about being punk is about questioning authority and fighting for the sake of others
I am pretty regularly the only person inside who is wearing a mask. It doesn't bother me so much anymore, but I wish we'd collectively do something about... *waves hands around* this.
I never stopped wearing a mask. It's really disappointing that where I live, almost everyone seems to have stopped - like, if I'm in a full tram, there might be 2-3 other people at most wearing masks.
