there is far too much animation in ux design imo, i'm tired of interfaces animating all over the place hogging system resources, wasting time and giving me motion sickness. interfaces aren't cartoon characters, i want to pop to new windows and tabs instantly like a terminal program or an MFD, not wait 1-10 seconds for the thing to stop bouncing and wobbling and buffering until i can click it again.
