i make @bitsy (and some other things too)
I am for the moment assuming it is related to the mysterious and miraculous claw that went missing! Whether thatās time-bending or not⦠hm! Not enough information yet, but an interesting thing to keep an eye on. Good shout!
thanks!
I was also thinking the claw could be involved, but it depends on if you think severian brought triskele back to life in chapter 4, since thatās before he had contact(?) with the claw
on the other hand if the claw has some kind of time travel power, that might not matter? (I just flipped back to the start of chapter 19 and it looks like agia suggests the conciliator can transcend time, which fits)
sorry for rambling on - Iām just having fun piecing these theories together haha >:D
I still am more inclined to think that Triskele was more of a poetic usage of someone on the brink of death, but I will keep that in mind for when we learn more about the claw.
Itās a fun book to puzzle over! Itāa been helpful and enjoyable seeing other folks puzzle over it, like I missed all the Cas/Dorcas stuff on my first read.
that read could def fit too!
and yeah I agree itās been cool to see what other peopleās interpretations are - it really enriches the reading experience imo :)
