they all are bad. it should not be that hard to 1. put a full bridge rectifier in so they don't flicker and 2. have reasonable brightness control so the blue ones don't stab out my eyes. but I've tried two sets and they fail requirement number one. incandescents are the easy way out but so inefficient.
