I was at the hospital after getting sick on Wednesday, and have been slowly (and I mean FUCKING SLOW*) recovering ever since. Luckily, I only was there a few hours, but even so.... It's wild how a bug that just had everyone else in this house out for a day still has been down a bit.

That said, I'm just so glad and grateful for everyone in my life - and especially my chosen family - for everything they do for me. Y'all make this wacky ride forward day by day worth it.

Goals wise, as is the current hotness on the short-form site, this year's been a goddamned mess. Still in an adjustment period after the move (and everything that surrounded it), still trying to find my balance of work and stream and life, but for now? It's good. I'm enjoying what I'm doing, and the only thing I feel pressured to do is the 40/week to keep the roof over our heads and food in our bellies because late capitalism is a hellscape and must be stopped at all costs and-

That said, I just wanna keep doing things I enjoy doing in the new year - I don't wanna write down any major goals - especially for stream - because I've found that it's impossible to tell where they'll go in 3, 6, 9 months. Like I could say "I wanna keep grinding down FF1PR on stream" but what if I move on to different speedgames? So, no commitments, just... Do what sparks joy for me as it comes up. Hang out with the lovely friends who show up despite my current lack of schedule, and laugh and joke and enjoy the act of playing a video game with an audience. That's all I want.

Okay, actually, my one actual resolution is to "have streams scheduled" - get consistent and way less ad hoc about when I'm streaming.
