Wesołych Świąt!

As I've mentioned before the main part of Christmas is really celebrated at 24th here- with traditional Wigilia that includes gift giving after the dinner. And what a better way to celebrate the day than with some adorable stop-motion about the man of the day himself, Santa Claus.

Well, I say that but real, the true stars of the show are the clay (technically candle wax) dude and egg thingy trying to rob the old Saint Nic-who is either completely oblivious or a stone cold motherfucker. The animation of the clay dude is especially great. Very adorable part of the animation is the fact that in some shots you can see reflections of the animators at work in the baubles.

Also the main musical motif somehow makes me think of a BGM in a starting town. Music is by Jerzy Derfel , a man perhaps much more well known for also working on the music for the cult comedy ,Miś' (,Teddy-bear').
