i'm imagining the problems with seats of office like the presidency must include a LOT more assassination attempts going down than officials are willing to disclose. like if a KING who is ordained by inheritance/blood right gets a shitton of enemies when he has likely built up a vast number of loyalists over the course of many many years seated on the throne, it feels like having some arbitrary number of guys come in and "rule" for just 4-8 years at a time without really even building a regime that involves earning the trust of the people? is gonna be positively wrought with carnage. so i'm honestly perplext at just how little you hear of presidents getting targeted for assassination. this post is definitely putting me on some sort of list lmfao but i'm just thinking about how unlikely all of this seems. wack
