So, i'm 99.9999% sure that an outlet that has nothing plugged into it isn't supposed to get so hot you can't hold you finger on it, even if it's daisy chained in a 15A circuit close to max amperage being used, especially if all other outlets on the same circuit are not hot....
It's cool, i just won't run the AC on the 4-hottest days where it's expected to get up to 104F until the landlord responds to my email about it, i'm sure it's fiiiine:tm:
