Eschewing the standard australian traditions of an outdoor mostly barbeque or cold lunch, and going with the sunday roast. Spent some time on consultation with friends and looking at available stuff - this is what i will be cooking on sunday. Some of these choices are a little odd, but it's what people want so who am I to question? :)
Turkey Crown Roast, Parmigiana style
Oven roast turkey crown, brined or marinated, served parmigiana style with a dressing of marinara sauce and cheese
Fancy Stuffing
Made with pork sausage, leek, fennel, shallots, parsley, sage, bread
Green Bean Casserole
Made with fresh green beans and mushrooms, with a crispy cheesy onion topping
Roasted Radish and Squash salad
Halved, roasted with yellow peppers and crushed macadamias
Field Peas & Sweet Corn
Green Peppercorn Gravy
Should be fun... and delicious... and leave a weeks worth of leftovers, easily.
