there's only a few ways to find people / be found:
- a post is tagged with a tag you're following or searching for
- a page title includes a word you're searching for
- a post is made or shared by a page you follow or are currently browsing
- you get a link to a page or post (eg from an interaction notification, or just a regular old link)
