just to have it around: my very outdated yet still somewhat useful post index.

to just get it out of the way: our headmate who ran this account for the most of the two years we've been here isn't really around anymore¹. we did end up continuing to run this account for roughly a month², but it just kinda felt wrong, so we just stopped posting at some point, and we just occasionally lurked on here³. that's where "i" have been.⁴

so, uh. that also makes the whole moving forward and sharing your socials thing complicated. i guess if you liked its stuff you may also like the posting i do elsewhere on the internet, so here are a few places where i hang around:

• fedi: @lexi@catcatnya.com (the primary platform i use for Posting. do note that i am somewhat picky with follow requests; if we weren't close or i cannot recognize you from your profile alone (e.g. same user/avi or just a link to your account here) you get the same vibe check as everyone else)

i'll probably go through my following list and follow a bunch of people in other places back when i have time; i'll either do that with the accounts mentioned here or if its an entirely different thing that sounds interesting enough you can always verify our identity via pgp, see bio.

i (as in, the headmate writing this) did have an account here too! i never used it a lot, and nobody has figured out that we were from the same system⁵, but both posting here and on the other account was always very nice. even though i haven't used it for a while, im gonna miss this place. the occasional lurking and very rare actual interaction here was really fun, and this will always be one of my favorite places on the internet. it's been fun. and i know that my headmates loved this place. it has been a blast for us being on here. thank you for everything <3

1. for those not familiar with that, this somewhat comparable with a roommate moving out, and not a "died in a horrible car crash" thing. headmates just sometimes come and go.

2. in which we also referred to "past me", plurality etc. a lot, had a period of silence before, and literally a different theriotype so with a bit of hindsight it was kinda obvious, and im honestly a bit surprised that nobody seems to have noticed that pattern yet lol

3. ironically, i was active the literal day before the announcement. and jesus christ that comment aged worse than raw milk on a warm summer day lmfao

4. also, side note: there was an Event™ with the Authorities™ literally like a week or so before i made the last post on here. it wasn't bad, they weren't looking for me, nothing was taken or compromised (and my kill switch mechanism worked beautifully), but i did get the irl version of the "there are monsters nearby" screen so i verified my identity after it happened, but that did not have anything to do with this, dw.

5. we have more or less shared memory, and i can recognize at least roughly after looking at someone's profile if they knew this account, and as to my knowledge nobody from here has ever interacted with me on there. they say it's a small world but cohost got surprisingly big! at least big enough to run two completely separate identities with zero direct intersections. feel free to guess who i was, but i am pretty sure that nobody will ever find out >:3
