hey chosties is anyone here good at browser forensics? or to be specific, if you have a corrupted history database in a chromium-based browser how you'd recover most of it

those are sqlite files too i think, you should be able to apply whatever sqlite database recovery methods are applicable once you get the right file
Can confirm, SQLite is their default. Unfortunately recovery of SQLite is... Rare.
yeah depends how big the file is or what happened to it. if it's hosed it's probably very hosed, getting data out can be a real pain
