troublesome fox girl

hello i like to make video games and stuff and also have a good time on the computer. look @ my pinned for some of the video games and things. sometimes i am horny on @squishfox

experiencing a curious and unique form of neuroticism from the combination of

  1. multiple people have compared pizza tower to fox flux, as both being clearly inspired by wario land 2–4

  2. everyone is talking about pizza tower

it feels like a high bar that i am now "supposed" to clear but probably won't because my game is kind of niche and also i don't know (or like) anything about marketing. but i'm aware this is also entirely within my imagination

in reply to @lexyeevee's post:

i'm currently playing pizza tower and also loved wario land 2-4

i love pizza tower, but fox flux has some key differences that i think make it appealing to me:

  1. it's cute as heck (not that pizza tower doesn't have good art, but it's intentionally unsettling)

  2. it's slower paced (pizza tower hurts my eyes, literally)

point 2 especially is appealing to me as i loved the slower pacing and puzzle aspects of wario land stages a lot. pizza tower is a lot less puzzle and a lot more like... sonic or something, with how absurdly fast everything is. plus the bosses are quite tough.

what you've shown of fox flux looks great, and hopefully pizza tower renews interest in wario-likes and gives fox flux more attention as a result!

:yeah:

I hadn't heard of Pizza Tower before, and Fox Flux is way more my speed, both literally and figuratively. Also they're very different kinds of games taking different parts of the source material to heart.
